MusculaRx, India’s First Sports Pharmacy, has signed an MoU with Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), an Institution of Eminence ranked 3rd in NIRF 2025. Founded by MAHE alumnus Dr. Sivakumar Kannan, MusculaRx is dedicated to building end-to-end health solutions for athletes, driving academia–industry collaborations in sports science and healthcare, and pioneering safe and innovative performance pathways on the road to Olympics 2036.

MusculaRx – India’s First Sports Pharmacy – has signed an MoU with Neuberg Diagnostics as our official diagnostic partner. This collaboration will enable advanced athlete-centric healthcare through DNA & performance testing, blood and urine analysis, anti-doping evaluations, and data-driven athletic screening. Together, we are pioneering a new era of scientific sports pharmacy and clean sport in India.

“Hawk Eye of Doping” was released by Lt. Gen. Dr. M.D. Venkatesh, Vice Chancellor of MAHE. Authored by Dr. Sivakumar Kannan, Dr. Anup Naha, MAHE alumnus Dr. Punit Bansal, and former Indian cricketer Mr. Robin Singh, the book is dedicated to creating mass public awareness for doping-free sports and safeguarding athlete careers.

Dr. Sivakumar Kannan, Research Scholar at the Department of Pharmaceutics, MCOPS, won the Best Poster Award at the 24th National Conference of the Association of Pharmacy Teachers of India (APTI 2019) held in Dehradun.
